If you are between 8 and 15 years old, this is your surf camp for minors. Whether you already surf or are coming as a beginner, we have prepared a specific program for you. The only requirement to enjoy our surf camps for children and teenagers is knowing how to swim and having a desire to have fun and learn. At the youth surf camp, the safety of the boys and girls is our top priority. We have internal regulations that must be signed by parents or legal guardians. You will obtain this document once you formalize your reservation on our website or by phone.

Discover our unique facilities at the ArtSurfcamp surf school-camp for minors and adults. We provide our students with our hostel right on the paradisiacal Razo Beach, just 100 meters from the waves, in the municipality of Carballo, Coruña, in the heart of Galicia's Costa da Morte. The surf hostel has a capacity for 61 people divided over three floors and features shared rooms for 6, 8, and 10 people with a shower and bathroom area in each room, as well as 2 terraces where you can share unique moments with your companions. The rooms are large and spacious, all of them with large windows. Additionally, they have individual lockers with keys to store your belongings and valuables with total security. The facilities comply with all current regulations and possess all the necessary licenses. We have front and back terraces where we conduct complementary classes such as video projections, wave formation, and workshops that will help you increase your knowledge of surfing and meteorology. In this room, you can also challenge your companions to a table tennis championship. The surf school located on the beachfront is where we store all the surfboards and where we change before and after each surfing session. We also have our own kitchen. From our facilities, you will be able to see the sea and share the impressive sunsets offered by Razo Beach with your companions and discuss how the surf lessons went. Furthermore, you can enjoy anything from an energetic breakfast to a delicious lunch or dinner after an intense day of surfing.
At our teen surf camps, 7 km of beach awaits, brimming with excellent surf breaks. It's one of the longest and highest quality beaches on the entire Atlantic coast of Europe, both for its waters and the services it offers. Lifeguard service is available all day, and we coordinate with them, as well as with the Carballo Town Hall, to ensure a positive experience on the beach and that everyone's safety is fully covered.
The surf camp for teens is just 100 meters from the waves! Razo is a charming coastal village of 400 inhabitants, a very peaceful place where surfing is in the air 365 days a year. It's the main beach in the municipality of Carballo, a town located just 9 km away with a population of over 31,000, a health center, and all the services of a small city.
A Coruña is just 20 minutes from our facilities.
Our surf lessons are taught by instructors certified by the Galician Surf Federation or the Spanish Surf Federation. They are professional surfers who are passionate about what they do and who also excel at teaching.
Our surf school is structured into three different levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). Depending on your skill level, we have a surf camp for children specially designed for your level. For quality sessions, surf groups have a ratio of 6 children per instructor. In the morning, we have a 2-hour lesson. In the afternoon, during supervised surfing, we choose the best wave and tide conditions to make the most of the waves at Razo. In all our children's surf camp sessions, the supervised surfing portion is led and guided by our team of instructors to ensure the children feel safe and connected with our staff, allowing them to fully enjoy their experience. The priority is to enjoy the waves of Razo to the fullest, but on occasions when the swell, wind, and tide conditions aren't suitable for surfing, we'll offer some of the activities included in our children's surf camp program: surfing, of course; surf skating on our woodwave, mini ramp, slacklining, educational and safety workshops, surf-adapted training, and beach games. Do I need to know anything about surfing to come to our children's surf camps? No, you only need to know how to swim. We are a surf school/camp that offers surf courses for all levels: from beginner to advanced. Just bring your suitcase full of fun and a desire to improve. We'll take care of the rest.
To help you get the most out of your stay, we've designed a fantastic program of parallel activities. Our teaching methodology analyzes all aspects of surfing, but Artsurfcamp is much more than just a surf camp. We help our students better understand weather forecasts in our wave formation courses, improve their technique through video analysis sessions, increase their physical fitness with stretching sessions, and guide them through functional training sessions so they can train safely and independently. Finally, if you plan to continue surfing, we'll put all our expertise at your disposal so you can choose the equipment best suited to your needs.
The camp activities go even further; Skateboarding, environmental workshops, hiking, tarp surfing, beach volleyball tournaments, longboard slalom, surf skating, evening activities, and much more are all part of the weekly program at our surf camps for children and teenagers. Fun is guaranteed every day!
We provide you with a varied diet with a menu specifically designed by a dietitian and prepared in our kitchen by our professional team of chefs. Hearty, delicious, varied, and with plenty of fruit. Good fish, meats, vegetables, and pasta are never missing from the Galician diet. We start the day with a varied and energetic breakfast. Lunch and dinner consist of 2 courses, water, bread, dessert, and you will also always have fresh fruit available.
What concerns us parents the most is the safety of our children. Therefore, in our summer surf camps, our organizational structure includes a team of qualified professionals consisting of the director and leisure monitors who watch over the safety of the young ones at all times. Their work takes place 24 hours a day; during the stay, they will be attentive to help young campers with everything they need, ensuring harmony and fun, and making sure that the internal rules of our youth surf camp are respected. The entire team sleeps at the hostel. For added security, we have a closed-circuit video surveillance system inside. Safety and fun always go hand in hand at Artsurfcamp.
Experiences
At Art Surf Camp, every experience is different, but they all share something in common: a connection with the ocean, with oneself, and with others. Here, waves turn into lessons, laughter into memories, and every day ends with the feeling of having experienced something real.
Activities
At Art Surf Camp, activities go beyond just filling time: they are spaces to discover, create, and connect. Every workshop, every excursion, and every shared moment becomes an opportunity to explore new passions, break the routine, and live the present with intensity.
