Our surf school
Artsurfcamp Surf School joins forces with our partner Pukas Surf in Barcelona with the intention of transmitting and teaching all their knowledge and experience about the world of Surf and SUP.
The facilities that Pukas maintains within the CNB (Club Natación Barcelona) allow us to offer you the best location in Barcelona, as well as the best equipment and service. Surf classes are mixed and are focused on all ages. Our goals in the surf courses are learning with maximum safety by our certified instructors with experience and knowledge of the beaches of Barcelona.

Barcelona surf lessons
Saturdays and Sundays monthly course
- 12h of lessons (theory, SUP, skate, video recording, and of course surfing)
- Necessary surf equipment (board and wetsuit)
- Classroom, changing rooms, and hot water shower
- Medical insurance
- Surf instructor with certified qualification
- Level: Beginner and intermediate
- Schedule: From 09:00 to 10:30, from 14:00 to 15:45, and from 16:00 to 17:30
Every Tuesday and Thursday – Midweek monthly course
- 12h of lessons (theory, SUP, skate, video recording, and of course surfing)
- Necessary surf equipment (board and wetsuit)
- Classroom, changing rooms, and hot water shower
- Medical insurance
- Surf instructor with certified qualification
- Schedule: 9:00 to 10:30 or 16:00 to 17:30
Intensive 1 day a week (Monday or Friday) Surftraining
- 8h of lessons (surf, skate, sup, training, video correction, theory)
- Necessary surf equipment (board and wetsuit)
- Classroom, changing rooms, and hot water shower
- Medical insurance
- Surf instructor with certified qualification
- Schedule: 9:00 to 11:00 or 15:30 to 17:30
What are the schedules and days for the Monthly Surf Course?
Courses are held on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Also on two alternate days during the week, currently being held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The first group is at 9:00, then 10:45, 12:30, 14:15, and 16:00. The duration is one and a half hours. For a group to proceed at a specific time, at least 4 people are required; students can choose the schedule as long as there is availability.
Can I take individual 1h Surf, SUP, or Ocean Pilates courses?
With private lessons or closed groups there is no problem. If you send us their phone number when making the reservation, we will contact them to set a schedule.
If I cannot attend weekend classes, can I do it during the week?
Monthly courses can be done either on weekends (1.5h Sat and 1.5h Sun) or during the week (e.g., 1.5h Tue and 1.5h Thu). Each student has an assigned group, instructor, and schedule and will do all the month’s lessons in that same group. If you miss a class, it is lost, unless it is due to a force majeure cause related to health or family issues. In that case, a date will be sought where there is a gap in a group so you can make it up. Classes are held regardless of weather conditions.
Can I start the monthly course on any date of the month?
No. It must start on the first Saturday of the month the course begins; this way, no lessons are missed.
Where are we, what is the address of the Barcelona School?
We are inside the Club Natación Barcelona (CNB), and access to the School will always be from the seafront promenade, as access through the CNB reception at Paseo Joan de Borbó 93 is reserved only for its members.
How old do I have to be?
Surf lessons are taught from age 6. (Must know how to swim)
What surf level do I need to have?
You don’t need to know how to surf, you just need to know how to swim.

Entrance to Pukas via the beach promenade (wooden hut). Our School utilizes the Surf Course facilities at the Barcelona Swimming Club (CNB) where you will enjoy being on the front line of San Sebastián Beach (Barceloneta). We offer you the opportunity to learn, improve, and perfect surfing and SUP.
Attention. For monthly courses, lessons are non-changeable; meaning if you miss a class, it cannot be made up. Unless it is due to a justified cause such as illness or others..
