Artsurfcamp began its journey in 2004 in the privileged enclave of Razo beach (municipality of Carballo, province of A Coruña), where nature offers optimal conditions for practicing this sport.
Our mission is to offer camps with 100% surf and nature immersion and to promote Razo as a multicultural meeting point for those who want to soak up the surf culture.

Manuel Alonso and Pablo Rodriguez (the tall one in the photo), two local surfers, learned to surf in Razo from a very early age when they were only 9 and 12 years old respectively. They will help you discover the best secrets of the area.

The Quik Pro France became a classic after every summer; here we took José from the legendary bar O'Cordobés surfing and to see the pros.

The first great national surfer to come and share tips with us; at that time it was a source of pride to share moments with Norman Landa and watch him surf along the beaches of the Costa da Morte.

Image of the garage where it all started with the first groups from Barcelona and the Basque Country, brought by our friend and Catalan instructor Alex Knoepfel (center of the photo).

The most successful Galician professional surfer on one of his visits to the camp. Gony, a great friend of the Artsurfcamp family, always kind, keeping us up to date with what's happening in the surf world.

Pablo and Manu are invited to France with Oxbow and share a few days with Laird Hamilton, the pioneer in the world of big waves.

A year of tests and experiments. We tried a towing machine to get the most out of aerials and radical maneuvers. It was something innovative at that time with an imported machine.

Art Surf Camp receives the German Surf Team to train for a week. They left their mark with how disciplined they can be.

At the Camp bar (Stef, Pablo, and LLuis) with the Asturians Marcos Slash (Slash shaper) and Guille Alonso (great national surfer).

Oxbow joins the team and helps us with the school in front of the beach.

Héctor Menéndez, a great Canarian surfer, and Fer, a Razo local, cheering up the staff with constant interviews and jokes.

Kitesurfing was attempted but couldn't be; the lagoon was left for the birds as a protected area, and this activity, which lasted a couple of years, could not be established.

We head to the snow every season to disconnect from Razo and change the scenery!

Final year of the facilities at the palm tree house; one era ends to start another more professional one.

Regine and Richard, two members of Arcade Fire, also came through Razo. Incredible that back in 2010, this Indie Rock band, when they were at the top internationally, came to Art Surf Camp and shared their experience with us before the Xacobeo 2010 macro concerts.

Photo of the mythical wedding dining room. Suso and Felisa always surprised us with a seafood spread in the middle of the camp.

Art Surf Camp consolidates itself as one of the largest national camps with all its services beachfront and with a capacity for 100 students.

Nike was our sponsor for 3 years. Thanks to our instructors and Artsurfcamp staff, we have shared summers we will not forget.

At Art Surf Camp the human team is the most important thing; our staff is proud to work here and the clients notice it.

Great ones! Mario Casas and his sister Sheila; they've already graced us with their presence several times. Every year they improve their surfing and every time they visit us since 2011 we see their progression.

Our merchandising always present; the design team getting us all matching to stay one step ahead.

The Razo - Switzerland connection was and will always be present. Many groups have visited and they loved our way of living the Artsurfcamp experience!

Another of the games that caused a lot of talk in 2015 and we will bring back.

In 2015, alongside Adrián Felipez, we launched our menu with sand on our feet. A novel place at that time that brought much joy. Back then you could eat the premium burger beachfront with sea views just like a good serving of Pulpo Feira.

It was undoubtedly one of the most talked-about activities at Art; a pity our accident insurance recommended we stop it. It all ended in small scares.

A great exercise to improve balance with a lot of transition to surfing. We've been at it since 2015 and it's here to stay at Art.

It's not just going to be surfing; our campers also want to party. The fake night! It soon became part of the weekly program and ended up being of great interest to the local public!

Our great ally on flat days for students and also on XXL days for our staff.

What a great combination in the Baldaio Lagoon. A pleasure to enjoy such an environment.

The Miniramp at sunset brought us much joy, although a few scares too!

Inma Coohuco, a great architect and influencer, has also been here!

The Casas and Campra families are part of our family! They have been coming since they were very young and still continue to visit us. They carry Razo in their hearts.

In 2017 we started climbing, undoubtedly a good complementary training for surfing!

Pablo and Manu, the founders on the beach boardwalk, which was our office and regular meeting place for many summers.

They were also part of your experience.

2017 was a year full of parties at Art Bar. Our Art Bar terrace was the place chosen by Mahou and V de Valarés to present the festival with a concert. Many artists have passed through here, enlivening beach afternoons and becoming the fun spot in Costa da Morte for young people.

A massive ramp we were able to enjoy in front of the waves. We will undoubtedly miss it.

Another of the many activities we practice to sharpen our reflexes.

We started 2019 with one of the most impressive activities that people still love. Have you tried this feeling? The image speaks for itself... Timing and full concentration.
Artsurfcamp was born from the passion of a group of friends who turned their hobby into a growing company. The enthusiasm of partners Pablo Rodriguez and Manuel Alonso, for whom Artsurfcamp is a life project, has created a relaxed atmosphere where people can practice sports and have fun.
Over time, management has become more professional, and today in Razo, Artsurfcamp stands as the only surf camp authorized to provide accommodation, with all the necessary permits to carry out the activity.
Throughout these years, major commercial brands have chosen us for their promotional campaigns. In 2010, we took part in the television campaign that Chupa Chups conducted to promote its Extreme Campus. We have also been sponsored by internationally relevant brands such as Quiksilver, Oxbow, Pukas, and Nike. Renowned surfers like Gony Zubizarreta, Hector Menéndez, Luis Rodriguez, Pablo Solar, Lucia Martiño, and many more are part of the Artsurfcamp family, along with luxury shapers like Jhony Cabianca or Mikel Agote and top-level photographers like Sergio Villalba.
The growth that Artsurfcamp has experienced in recent years makes us one of the benchmark tourism companies in the Bergantiños region. More than 5,000 visitors from all over the world (mainly Spain and Europe) have already passed through our facilities. Customer loyalty is very high and feedback is very positive, which leads us to invest year after year in improvements to both our facilities and our services so that our guests feel as comfortable as possible.
Today, Artsurfcamp belongs to the Hostel Network of the Xunta de Galicia and REAJ (Spanish Youth Hostel Network) and the international Hi Hostelling network. Today it is one of the benchmark locations for housing surfers from all over Spain due to its location.
Artsurfcamp is a fundamental piece in the tourism development of the Bergantiños and Costa da Morte region. We are currently working hard to attract new market segments by expanding our offers to schools, public institutions, clubs, town councils, and surf performance teams as well as other sports modalities.
